Melody Charman

Research Project Coordinator

Melody joined CERP in November 2006 as Awarding Database Coordinator. Her role later changed to that of Research Project Coordinator, although she still held responsibility for creating and maintaining the awarding databases. Melody is a qualified Prince2 practitioner and her main responsibility was to manage research and development projects run within CERP, particularly those within the Technology-Enabled Assessment for Learners (TEAL) programme, and she mostly worked alongside Chris Wheadon. During her time with CERP, Melody graduated with a degree in English Language and Literature from the Open University. She also carried out some smaller research projects of her own and presented at internal research seminars and external conferences. Mel left CERP in 2012 to study for a PGCE.
